St. Mary’s Church Festival
Once again guests participating in our upcoming parish festival will have the opportunity to shop at our white elephant table/flea market. Household & decorative items, clothing, jewelry, toys and much more will be available. If anyone has something in good condition that is no longer wanted but may be a treasure to someone else please consider donating it to the white elephant/flea market table. The more items available for sale the greater our profit will be. Also, we are in need of volunteers to work at the table. Anyone who is able to help, either by donating items to sell or by working at the table, is asked to contact the Rectory or call Filomena at (973) 790-6332.
This special mission will be conducted by Paul Rymniak on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 11th, 12th and 13th, 2017. All three evenings will start at 7:00 p.m.
The thrust of both of these evenings will be FORGIVENESS and HEALING. There will be priests available for CONFESSION… Healing starts in the Confessional with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, you might want to consider this option during this time.
Paul Rymniak is an ordinary man, or so he claims. Multitudes will disagree with his self-assessment, for he is known throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, and throughout many countries in the world. He’s is not a medical doctor or ordained minister or priest, but he sees Christ working through him and he says there is scriptural basis for his work.
According to Paul who credits GOD and NOT HIMSELF for his successes, he possesses several hundred testimonies from medical doctors and lay people which confirm healings GOD has used him to perform.
Devotion of the Holy Rosary
As we started this beautiful month of October, we invite you to continue nourishing our spiritual life in our homes by praying the Holy Rosary. In our parish, throughout the month of October, we will pray the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. sharp. In a very special way and with a little bit of sacrifice, we will meet every Saturday at 6:00 a.m. sharp. We hope to count with your presence.
You are most welcome to St. Mary’s Church. You may register by contacting the Parish Office during working hours. If you are not registered presently, we cannot provide you with testimonial letters in connection with sponsorship for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation or Matrimony. If you are moving from the Parish, please notify the Parish Office.
Arrangements should be made two months in advance. A Baptism Preparation Session is required of all parents. Please call the Rectory at (973) 790-8651 to make arrangements.
According to Diocesan regulations, arrangements should be made one year prior to the date of marriage. Please contact the Parish Office for an appointment with the Pastor.
CARE OF THE SICK
Please notify the Parish Office when a member of your family is in the hospital. We would like to be notified if you or someone in your family is unable to attend Mass and needs to receive Holy Communion.
